We didn't build software for academies. We ran an academy — and built the system we wished existed.
Most management software is written by people who've never run a class, chased a late teacher, or followed up on an overdue installment. Gahez came from the exact opposite side.
The problem we lived ourselves.
We ran English Zone across five different tools: one for students, one for payments, Excel for attendance, WhatsApp groups for follow-up, and a notebook for sales. Every month-end we'd reconcile numbers that didn't match, discover a student who slipped through follow-up, an installment that got forgotten. Time that should've gone to teaching went to duct-taping tools together.
So we built one system instead of five.
We started building the tools for ourselves, piece by piece, and every piece went into service in front of real students and teachers before we trusted it. What worked, stayed. What made the work harder, got thrown out. After a while we were running an entire academy from one screen — and only then did we realize this wasn't just for us.
Our mission: let every academy owner focus on teaching, not admin.
